At Stittsville United Church, we strive to be a welcoming, friendly and supportive community of faith. Our congregation has a spirit which is a mixture of casual, traditional, and innovative. Stittsville United Church is a congregation consisting of approximately 250 families. We have members from families who have lived in Stittsville for many generations, others who have found Stittsville a good community in which to spend their retirement years, and young families who have moved into our rapidly growing neighbourhoods in more recent years. On average we have about 150 people attending our 10:00 am worship service on Sundays. (More attend around Christmas and Easter, and less in the summer.) During our Sunday morning 10:00 am worship services, people of all ages gather in the sanctuary for a time together. Early in the service (except in the summer), we invite children to participate in age appropriate activities, including a nursery for children under age 3, a Sunday School for children from age 3 to grade 5, a junior youth group for those in grades 6 to 8, and a Youth Group for young people in High School. Our High School age youth group also meets on Monday evenings.
