St. Andrew’s United Church in Port Moody. We are a congregation of the United Church of Canada. We are small in numbers and big in welcome, hospitality and faith in action. We welcome people to “come as are” to worship Sunday morning or to join any of our programs that support healing, learning and giving to our community and world. We are a community of openness for questions, doubts, seeking, learning and serving as we walk our faith journey. Our Vision is to be a community of: - Healing....resting in God’s love - Learning..to be followers of Jesus in our world today - Giving..... of ourselves with compassion for the healing of the world. Join the journey...where ever you are... We are and hope to be: A welcoming and inclusive community of openness for questions, doubts, seeking and learning as we walk our faith journey. A community of people of all ages and stages of life and faith, following the teachings and life of Jesus the Christ as a way of knowing God. Offer a variety of spiritual growth/nurture experiences that meet the needs of children, youth, adults and seniors. Offer a variety of worship styles and times that speaks to a range of backgrounds. Support all people in learning their gifts for ministry and places to share them. Be “messenger of peace” in the community. Share our ministry with areas of need in the community both near and far as we are called. Use media and advertising to share the good news and invite others to walk their faith journey with us. We recognize we can’t fulfill this vision alone....so we are seeking transformation by joining together with other United Churches.
