Sunbury Shores has been the arts and cultural focal point of St. Andrews since 1964. For almost 50 years the Centre has accomplished this by offering a range of programs, workshops, residencies and explorations for individuals and small groups. Founded by Mrs Dorothy Meigs Eidlitz the Centre is the longest continuously operating facility of its kind in Canada. Mrs Eidlitz was a Zen Buddhist and wanted to create opportunities for people to experience and manifest the connection between art and nature. Today we offer programs and opportunities that allow a wide ranging public to do just that...from toddlers and teenagers to professional artists and those folks just looking for something new.
