Sun Shade Film Systems Ltd is a local, family owned window film business situated in Sooke on the Wild West Coast of Southern Vancouver Island just 30 minutes from Victoria. Founded in 1997, our focus has been continuously evolving; from earthquake safety and window tinting to a broader use of glazing films of all types and applications. A chance meeting with the Canadian Distributor of Madico Window Films at a product seminar held in Vancouver was to be the start of a 16 year relationship with Peter Yates and the folks at Window Film Sytems . In the early 2000's Lori Steel - my partner in all things - and I rebranded our services under the name of Sun Shade Film Systems Ltd which better describes what we do and has created a local brand of sorts. Today our market has grown to include all facets of glazing film applications for Commercial, Residential and Marine use.
