Studio Artistry offers a comprehensive, theoretic and hands on education in all areas of professional makeup. Located conveniently in the heart of Toronto, our curriculum is designed to teach aspiring makeup artists from the fundamentals of makeup artistry to a wide array of concentrated aspects within and beyond the industry.
We have constructed our programs to be taken in individual courses concentrating on one area of artistry at a time. Classes are small in size and are conducted by leading industry professionals at a state of the art facility. With little lecture time, more demonstrations, and hands on training, it provides an atmosphere for visual learning, leading to understanding and interpretation.
In addition to in-class training, Studio Artistry’s unique approach of integrating on-location experience gives students the opportunity to gain invaluable knowledge and skills necessary on a real set. In working with professional photographers and experienced models on a regular basis, it not only allows students build confidence in their own work while interacting in controlled settings, but it also effortlessly builds a visibly strong, professional, dynamic yet versatile portfolio during their learning experience here at Studio Artistry.
