Set in a beautiful park on the corner of 104 Street and 72 Avenue, Strathcona is surrounded by amenities such as tennis courts, a skating rink, a swimming pool, and one of the finest outdoor tracks in Western Canada. The park like setting contributes a great deal to the serenity of the school. Strathcona is a top-notch academically oriented school. The internationally recognized Advance Placement Program is at the heart of our school. In addition to the excellent academic program, Scona is noted for its award winning Fine Arts program, top level international languages (French, German and Spanish) programs, as well as its outstanding Athletics programs.
For over 100 years, academic excellence, superior athletics and artistic brilliance have been the hallmarks of Strathcona High School. Generations of Edmonton’s best and brightest have thrived at Strathcona, building a reputation for high achievement that is second to none.
