Standen House is a Canadian wholesale import and distribution company, specializing in unusual and thoughtfully selected gifts. We ship to independent gift and card stores across the country, and in addition we supply specialty stores dealing in toys and educational material. Standen House was established in 1972 by Ruth Snider, an artist, speaker and writer. In 1997 the direction of the business was taken over by her daughter Ruth-Lynne. For Mrs Snider, Standen House became an expression of her own considerable artistic abilities and Standen House became well known for its limited edition and character Teddy Bears. When Ruth-Lynne took over, she concentrated on broadening the range of product offerings, but also maintaining the firm's reputation for quality and service, and for providing a personal response to the needs of its individual customers. Our Team Standen House Head Office and Warehouse are staffed by our own experienced, professional employees who are committed to ensuring that our high standards of customer service are met or exceeded.
