iwas signing the contract before and she said this is just for 2 years now they you sign for 2.5 years i try to cancel this this because i was so busy and they said you can't cancel this otherwise we put in collection department can you imagine i told them i always out of the country …. i pay the the whole contract but never to to gym even one day and i cannot cancel. this is not good company to go .

A friend referred me to this gym, so I went there and the lady I signed the contract with told me that I only will pay 150 $ any time I want to cancel + I won't pay for 2 months (as I was going outside the country at the time for 2 months) and poor me I signed a 2 year contract without reading what's in it. They are charging me over 50$ every month while I cannot go (as I have a baby and I am not driving), when I called, many of their agents have ended the phone call !! and when I went to the spalady to ask that lady I signed the contract with, why she lied to me, she was so arrogant, and told me DO NOT CANCEL!! they will even charge you 15$ for every declined credit card transaction!! and you cannot transfer you membership to anyone!!. Please don't sign long contracts and make sure you read everything on the contract first.

Excellent trainers - poor service - staff lie just to get your sale - NOT WORTH IT AT ALL!!

I have always loved the equipment at Spa lady, but I have had awful experiences with personal training and after refering 4 friends - only one was left happy! Not good!! Spa lady OVER PROMISES and UNDER DELIVERS!! 1) My personal trainer was wonderfull, however she cancelled 3 sessions with less then 2 hours notice. I had cancelled one session with 9 hours notice and had that session taken away from me because I did not give 24 hour notice! But yet it is fair for my trainer to give no notice??!! When purchasing training the club Manager whent on and on about how amazing my training will be and blah blah blah. She said I would get 2-3 sessions a week and reach my goal by Christmas. Well it took 3.5 weeks to actualy get to work with my trainer as she was booked AND I am only getting 1 sessin a week!! My trainer also told me "You can do this, your amazing - on the days your not working with me, just do a class and 60m of running on the treadmill". What the heck! I bought training because I need H-E-L-P!! I can't do an hour class then go run for an hour!! 2) My friend who saved up her money for months bought training. It took her 2 weeks to see someone, then her trainer said "I just do basic training, if you want someone to really push you and work you hard - I'm not the one". (Thats why she hired a trainer) So anyways, she got a new trainer who in 5 weeks has seen her 3 times. She doesn't get back to her on time, and when my friend hunted down her trainer last week she was told "If I don't call you, you keep calling me. I'm a busy lady and you need to be on top of your game sweety". That is no way to speek to a paying client and why should she pay almost $900 for training and not recieve it in the manner she was presented. 3) My sister and her friend also purchased group sesions, were told they would be working with there trainer 2-3 times a week and.... There trainer is to busy and can only take them once a week. The trainer also said "I'm not just a personal trainer, I also work in the club with sales and reception. I have worked 21 days in a row and I am beat. Sorry, I need a bit of a break". !!!! **The bottom line is, people are being sold a service that is not being provided in the manner they were told. Some of the trainers are wonderfull and some clients get great service, but not a lot. It is time for Spa lady to stop making promises. Yes they are a buisiness, yes they need to make money but NO NO NO - They do not have any right to lie and sucker people into believeing they will get these things. These sales girls (the ones who are not trainers) say whatever they can to get the sale and then they are done with you. You are sent to a trainer who may or may not be able to deliver your requests and a trainer who is most likely very busy and can't fit you in. If you are a member at Spalady I suggest you purchase your training from YOUR TRAINER. Not a sales girl! This way you can have in writing what you and your trainer have talked about and you are not stuck with a trainer saying "I'm sorry, I don't know why she told you that". Spalady is a cash cow - they are run by money hungry people who will push and push there staff to make more and more.
