Sonya Lacroix Graphic & Web Designer At High Tide Tattoo Parlour, Thunder Bay, ON

I’ve always had a love for art, design and web development. Enrolling in the Multimedia Productions Program at Confederation College was a natural step after high school. During my third year of college, I worked as a tattoo apprentice at Central Body Art, a Thunder Bay tattoo shop. After graduating from the Multimedia Program, I earned a graphic design internship position at EMI Music Canada and quickly fled to Mississauga. I learned a lot at EMI and had a great experience at a very exciting company. After completing my internship, I returned to Thunder Bay to work at Generator Strategy Advertising as a New Media Designer. From 2008 to 2011, I spent my days at Generator designing visual identities, advertisements, print, web, front end web development, flash animation and video editing. My partner, Mike Gresham and I have always dreamed of having our own company. On April 23, 2011, we opened High Tide Tattoo Parlour in the North Ward of Thunder Bay.
