It makes a huge difference in their hockey skills if they develop good skating skills early. Mike Rejc played professionally in Europe and was Assistant Coach in charge of rookie development. Mike spent many years studying and practising Russian training techniques, which enabled him to play professionally until the age of 37. He was coached and tutored by Vladimir Kerikunov, a member of the Russian '76 Canada Cup Team and Head Coach of Moscow Dynamo for 7 years. Mike is a Certified Canadian Powerskating Instructor who takes personal pride in helping each student develop to his/her maximum potential.
