Nice office, that's about it. I was looking for work, however I always avoid Oil jobs because it's so much money you have to spend just to start working. An of course there are some nasty knuckleheads who can start some major misery in your life on the patch (rig pigs). However times are tough an so I decided to give the service rigs a go, just until spring break up. I had just enough money in a jar to pay for my gear an base expenses till my first paycheck, however it would be tight an I don't like that. There is a government program that pays for your oilfield tickets, since I only need first aid an probably one other just to be safe, that would save me around $350.00. Figured a lost week wouldn't be so bad. However the guy I needed to sign that form so I could put it in was "conveniently" never around, however he was there on the first day (my warning sign was he was insecure an cowering). I was extremely polite an patient, much to a fault it seems. I was constantly popping by to get that form picked up an I kept getting the runaround. So they gave me the guys number. Being away I was accepting because if he's out in the patch keeping an eye on things, that's the way it goes but he kept saying "next time I"m in the office, next time I'm in the office". So talking on the phone multiple times it was agreed that even thou the weather has shut them down, at least he can sign that form so I can get my tickets finished an be available when the weather turns around an they start up again. He agreed to that an when I showed up at the office, I see the rigs in the yard, coffee on the desk an I figure, if it's not now, it's never. I actually had to call via their own office phone, an the "rather gay" office assistant started to get nervous, an that's when I started to think they were pulling something shady or more accurately some "catty bitch shit" The lil runt on the phone basically said "nah, we're shut down an we lost that form, an yadda yadda yadda." So that's when I figured out they were just fucking with me but got cornered so they just bailed. So they wasted 2 weeks of my time, an went back on their word & gave me the run around. Well if they want to fuck around like that, they will find out the hard way I have teeth an can bite back. Like call up all the oil companies that own our many many lucrative oil leases an tell them "Reliance Well Servicing", yah I don't want to see those SOB's on our lease sites, find another company. An since one well is connected to many other wells via a contract, that's gonna hurt something royal. An we farmers stick together, so this will multiply, an Oil companies don't like to piss off the farmers that are good to work with, and are reasonable with their requests. If they didn't want to hire me for whatever reason, they should have told me flat out so I could go about my business no fuss no muss, instead they wasted my time an F'd me around. I have no tolerance for that. We treat companies fairly but expect the same.
