Rick Barnes » General Manager Rick was licensed in 1981. After working with another London company he obtained his Master Electrician ticket and started R. Barnes Electrical Contractors Ltd. in 1984. He started alone and today employees over 35 staff. Rick is the general manager and oversees all aspects of the business. Jennifer Gifford » General Manager Jennifer is the Controller and joined the company in January 2010. Her experience includes working with another construction company and an in depth knowledge of ACCPAC and other business processes vital to the effective running of the business. Todd Archer » Project Manager & Junior Estimator Todd is the junior estimator, project manager and a Journeyman Electrician. Todd started his electrical career with Barnes Electric in August 1987. Today he is the most senior staff member. Todd worked his way through his apprenticeship to Journeyman and came into the office two years ago as an estimator. Todd estimates small to midsize projects and project manages them as well. Nelson Caetano » Senior Estimator Nelson is the senior estimator and a Journeyman Electrician. Nelson was licensed in 1984 and worked in the field for 21 years. He joined Barnes Electric in August of 2000 as a Journeyman. Nelson came into the office as estimator in 2005 . Nelson specializes in quoting schools and other large projects. Carol Stephenson » Office Administrator Carol has been with the company since March 2004. Carol is responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Time and Material Billings and handles the first line support for our internal systems functions for communication devices, computers and servers.
