It all started in January 2007. Catherine Pellerin was a television industry freelancer. She was approached by Kaboom Communication Design to produce the Tourisme Outaouais national summer advertising campaign.

With the help of Jean-Denis Ménard, who was a freelance director of photography at the time, they decided to rise to the challenge together.

They produced the campaign successfully and began to evaluate the demand for this type of product in the Outaouais market. Working from the basement of Jean-Denis’ home for the next 2 years, they tested the market and discovered real potential for a video production company. Monitoring the corporate video and television advertising industry in the Outaouais region, they noted a number of shortcomings, particularly in production quality and in the offering of truly bilingual productions.
