The Pezim Clinic is the first freestanding ambulatory surgery centre in British Columbia dedicated solely to lower gastrointestinal (GI) diagnostic and treatment services and proctology. The Pezim Clinic is fully-accredited by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia as a Non-Hospital Medical/Surgical Facility. Diagnostic and treatment services include simple rigid sigmoidoscopy, flexible sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy, rapid assessment of positive FIT tests, select local anesthetic anorectal surgery, colorectal cancer screening programs, and cosmetic anal surgery all in a friendly out-of-hospital clinic setting. Both provincial Medical Services Plan (MSP) and private care are offered. We understand the difficulties of dealing with a lower GI disorder and know that your medical concern is an urgent matter to you. At the Pezim Clinic we are committed to provide all specialty consultations and clinic procedures within three weeks of a request, and often much sooner.
