Description
Beginning in the early 1980’s Nancy has won over 50 National championship medals. She was inducted into the North Bay Sports Hall of Fame in 1983, finished as a Bronze medalist in at the World University Games in Zagreb in 1987, and participated in the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games.
Nancy graduated with a Bachelor of Physical Education in 1994 and then continued on to complete her Bachelor of Health Science, Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 1996 and her Masters of Science, Rehabilitation at the University of Toronto in 2004.
She has taught as a course lecturer at the University of Toronto, participated as a research assistant at Bloorview MacMillan Centre and Hospital for Sick Children, and works as a Clinical coordinator and mentor for Physical Therapy students.
Nancy’s professional career as a Physiotherapist includes work in Sports Medicine, Orthopaedics, and post-surgical rehabilitation and neurological injuries.
