Norrep Capital Management Ltd. (formerly Hesperian Capital Management Ltd.) was founded in Calgary in 1995 and assumed portfolio management duties for Norrep Investments at the beginning of 1999.
Starting with a Canadian small cap equity fund, Norrep decided to employ its energy expertise and opened its first Flow-Through Limited Partnership (FTLP) in July of that year. Norrep has successfully launched a new FTLP every year since 1999. After analyzing the capital markets, Norrep decided to design products that can take advantage of market inefficiencies and that are difficult for investors to do on their own. Our investment solutions can be divided into a “wealth creation” arm and a “wealth preservation” arm. Our full suite of wealth creation products includes two Canadian small cap funds, a micro cap fund, Global, U.S. and Canadian all cap funds, an energy fund, and a tactical balanced fund. Our wealth preservation side includes a global equity balanced fund, a Canadian equity balanced fund, a high yield fund and a short term income fund. We have also entered the alternative strategy market with the introduction of a market neutral income fund, and most recently have launched a fund of funds.
