Columbia Auto Service is a Waterloo institution. The Voigt family has been in the car repair business since the 1950's and the family-run business is still going strong. Jim Voigt and his wife Laurie took over the business in 1992 and their daughters Sarah and Alysha work in the customer care department. The family atmosphere extends to the excellent customer service clients receive at the garage. “I think the fact that we’re a family here creates an atmosphere of trust.” Voigt said. Columbia Auto Service is the 2012-13 Ontario Napa Autopro of the Year, and is a 10-time winner of the CAA customer service award. The garage has also won the NAPA Leadership Award, and was name “Service Provider of the Month by Car Care Business Magazine in February 2012! The garage has also been recognized by The K-W Record Readers’ Select Awards and the Waterloo Chronicle.
