I ordered 1 yard of HPB yesterday and this is what was sent to my home (pictures attached), HPB mixed with topsoil, wood chips,twigs. When I called to complain about this I was told that it was sand mixed with the 1/4" chip and that I should wash it off. Further investigation revealed that it was not sand but rather it was clumps of top soil mixed with wood chips and small twigs and by this point had also mixed with the HPB. I had already ordered 4 yards of HPB a week back so I knew how HPB should look and feel like, it was very clear to me that this material was not handle appropriately during the delivery. The Delivery truck was not cleared appropriately after the previous load was delivered. I am no expert but since this is the first time that I am building a walkway I was not sure how this would impact the drainage property of the HPB material. When I called back and told that I cannot use the product because it was mixed with soil and that the 1/4" chip was clumped up with the soil, This man who I spoke to passed derogatory comments against me, saying " I know you people, You people are criminals" and kept repeating these comments several times. This man also told me that he didn't care what I did with the material and that its not his problem any more. This man has absolutely no courtesy or decency. Is this the kind of customer service provided by Mavis Gardens, I am very disappointed with the level of service provided by your company.
