Getting married is one of the most important days of your life. When you hire a wedding photographer you are hiring an artist to visually capture your special day so that, years later, when you only have your wedding dress and your photos left you are able to look at them and vividly remember the feelings and emotions that you felt on that incredible day. My name is Markus Staley and I am a Toronto wedding photographer and I specialize in local and destination weddings. Through photography I love to create beautiful art, and photographing weddings is the most beautiful canvas of all. Capturing the love, happiness and beauty of a couple’s wedding story is truly an honour and I find new inspiration when working with each new couple. Using a blend of modern, editorial and photojournalistic styles, both posed and candid images, I document a couple’s day to reflect their personalities in a fun and artistic way. I now work with my wife, Eva, who is a wonderful photojournalist. Her easy-going spirit and warmth help make every wedding day more fun and enjoyable. Wedding days are usually quite busy and, as a team, we try to make the photo part of your day as stress-free and fun as possible. Photographing a wedding is not just about creating art. It is also about helping to create a positive, fun-filled and happy experience for the couple. While we take our work seriously, we do not take ourselves seriously.
