"I have three children with very different personalities. Alexander took the time to get to know each kid individually in order to find the most successful way to teach them. With my eldest, patience was the key. Alexander knew he was unwilling to learn to swim and slowly found ways to motivate him. Now my son -who never liked water much - is swimming a very impressive butterfly and never complains about going to swim class!. My middle son is very competitive so Alexander taps that side of him and tries to find new ways to challenge him and often races him. My little girl loves to learn but needs to have fun in order to remain focused. Thus Alexander devises ways to play with her while he teaches her. Alexander is passionate about teaching and has mastered a successful mix of stern, serious coaching with some fun and caring guidance.

I am an adult with no swimming experience. After 7 lessons with Alexander, I now know the basics of swimming. Though I am not yet a proficient swimmer (it's all about practice now), I thank Alexander for his patience and guidance in helping me to learn the basics. Alexander is a great teacher with a positive, encouraging attitude, and great insight on what, where, and how I could improve my various skills. He can look at my legs at the beginning of the lesson and tell if I've been running and my hamstrings are too tight! Overall, a great teacher that I would highly recommend.

Marina’s Swim School has created and implemented one of the most effective swimming curriculums - leveraging a unique style of teaching based on three guiding principles: water safety, progressive learning, and an individualized approach to instructing
A year-round approach to swimming is encouraged at Marina's Swim School.
Learning a long-term skill such as swimming, in a few weeks of lessons, is expecting a lot. Most of our students come to Marina's once or twice a week, and continue doing so on a year round basis. The consistent and relaxed
exposure to water is important in making swimming an enjoyable and beneficial
part of your child's life.
A swimmer of any age (8 months - adult) and any level of ability can enter
our program and find an appropriate class at any time of the year.
Lessons are taught in an advanced progression technique, with skills being broken down into simple, small steps and
introduced with an element of skill and fun.

Red Cross Swim Programs .
Parent & Tot (8-36 months) (Starfish, Duck, Sea Turtle)
Introduce your child to the wonders of water through a fun and interactive lesson experience. Join one of our experience instructors for games, water activities and an introduction to swimming skills. Parent participation in the water is required.
Preschool (3-5yrs) (Salamander, Sunfish, Crocodile, Whale)
This 7 level program is designed to promote success, focusing on parent involvement and water safety. It has an exciting and attractive format with fun characters and activities geared towards those 3-5 years old. Once your little one turns 6, they will move seamlessly into the Swim Kids program.
Red Cross Swim Kids (6-12 yrs)
This 10 level program focuses on stroke development, water safety and includes a fitness component. With our program, your kids will be challenged to their individual level and learning style.
Adults
Our lessons are for beginners and experienced swimmers. We adapt the program to suit all participants.
