Some of the techniques I use are the potter’s wheel, hand-building, extrusion, and slab construction. It is not the only medium I use for artistic expression but it is an important medium. Here at the studio there is an exhibition gallery area for my work and featured artists and I also provide lessons in clay and sculpture with customized times.
My education includes a Associate diploma from the Ontario College of Art, a Computer Programming Certificate from Humber College and currently half-way through an Under-Graduate Honors Degree in Visual Arts at Brock University. I have exhibited sculptures and pottery in numerous art galleries and from Lincoln Center in New York City to Key West, Florida I have exhibited and sold at hundreds of art shows.
There is a wall mural that I sculpted and installed at the National Council of Jewish Women in Toronto to honor people who have contributed greatly to the community and in the Philippines I studied with native potters using techniques unchanged for millennium. I no longer travel to shows and have I settled down in Welland enjoying a well equipped studio to explore and learn more about art.
