The Madison County Food & Beverage Co. was founded in 1963. Its president, Jim Dykes, has played a key role in the development of the specialty coffee market. We’ve really tried to create a family-type atmosphere here and we’ve been very fortunate to be able to keep, for the most part, our team together.” And that team’s primary focus is coffee. “We have always sold excellent coffee produced by some great suppliers, ” explained Dykes. “When we bought Madison County that gave us our own brand. That was a big deal. We buy all of our own green coffees and all are carefully roasted and blended to our exact recipes and specifications. Jim`s reputation is the result of decades of experience in sourcing and creating the perfect coffee combinations for the high-end food service market.
