The London North Eastern Railway Company (more commonly referred to as LNER) was started in the year 1996 by John William Watts, an experienced British trained automotive technician. The company started as a part-time garage that focused on the restoration of Bruce Wiener's Micro Car Collection which consisted of over 30 vehicles. As restorations were nearing completion, the company began to receive calls from owners of old vintage European vehicle's requesting the services of LNER. Within the first seven years the company had completed more than 50 restorations and had grown to become a leader in the service of European Cars within the Newmarket area. In 2003 John Watts, Owner and President, of LNER decided on a very ambitious project for his company and expanded the garage size to accommodate the company's increase in its restoration clientele base. LNER also saw the expansion into a new market base, general maintenance and repairs. Over the next three years Mr. John Watts fine tuned the company and by 2007 had established a thriving car repair and general maintenance garage that now caters to Domestic, European, and Asian Automobiles. Today LNER continues to strive forward with well trained service technicians to assist you with any of your automotive requirements into the new millennium.
