Presently there are approximately 75 paid staff and 150 volunteers working at Klinic. Klinic Community Health Centre was founded in the 1970's through the grass roots efforts of a group of politically active people who were concerned with issues of social justice. Over the years, the agency has seen many changes in terms of size, focus of service and types of available service. Klinic Community Health Centre strives to maximize the well-being and potential of the community by providing innovative and quality health, counselling and education services, serving as a voice for equality, social justice and social change, reflecting the core values of equity, accessibility, excellence, respect and empowerment in all activities, initiating and participating in research.
