Lorne Collis is the President of KIT Services. Lorne has an extensive background in the financial services sector, where he has worked as a lender, a mortgage broker and an Association Executive Director. Lorne’s passion lies in planning and organizing events.
From his first conference in the mid-80’s (a National Parenting Conference held in Brampton), Lorne has worked on and planned virtually every type of event.
From charitable events such as AIDS Walk Peel, Relay for Life and Parkinson SuperWalk, to seminars and training sessions, to golf tournaments, to full-blown conferences and trade shows, Lorne’s hands-on approach and attention to detail ensure your event will go off smoothly, efficiently and professionally.

From the little things like making sure all speaker presentations are pre-loaded into the laptop, to full staging and efficient registration, no event is too big or too small.
Since 1988, Lorne has been involved in the training and licensing of Mortgage Brokers and Agents. Lorne lectured on behalf of the Ontario Mortgage Brokers Association for their Mortgage Broker Licensing course from 1988 to 1994. He has continued to provide mortgage broker and agent education through private "white label" courses, and on behalf of Seneca College, IMBA and CAAMP. Lorne has authored a number of books for the mortgage industry including Advanced Mortgage Mathematics (Seneca College), and 10 Steps to Becoming a Successful Mortgage Agent (IMBA).
