This heritage house built in 1928 served as home to Colonel Lendrun, in an old British enclave of the area. The Colonel was well known as principal of Cowichan High School. This quiet location is just 2 km east of downtown Duncan and VIU, is close to shopping, excellent restaurants, entertainment and outdoor activities.
Jacquie will make you welcome and provide personal touches such as cozy dressing gowns, in comfortable rooms. The Vista Room with queen and two twin beds is quiet and spacious, perfect for a quiet get-away for a couple or family. Enjoy a view of the garden, mountains and valley. A good supply of toys is available for children. The Heritage Room features an antique double bed and view of the garden. Jacquie's delicious breakfasts served in the Fireside Room are designed especially for you and are loved by all her guests. You will not leave hungry. Relax with afternoon or evening tea from fine china cups in the Sitting room or veranda then stroll Jacquie's spacious gardens, that have been featured on the Annual Cowichan Family Life Garden Tour. You will have free access to WiFi. Share travel stories and be delighted and intrigued by Jacquie's 200 hand made ethnic dolls collected from her many travels.
