Is a line of software products developed by InterSect Business Systems Inc. InterSect Business Systems is a specialized software company based out of beautiful Kelowna, in British Columbia, and services North American based Food Distributors/Manufacturers. InterSect's "hands on" owners are Dietz and June Nicolay. As long time business owners, with a broad base of industry and business experience, they understand the need to maintain no-nonsense cost-effective information management systems, which provide actual benefits and add true value to your business. With over a decade of diverse custom software design and implementation experience, they have built and implemented over eighty unique integrated operational and accounting systems for industry. In 1995, they sold their Alberta based Custom software business and moved to Kelowna. In 1996 InterSect was incorporated and a dedicated focus on developing a line of exceptional industry specific software for the Food Industry was undertaken. was initially developed in concert with six food distributors and packers. This joint initiative was based upon a desire for a comprehensive PC Windows based solution with the depth and Industry features previously only available in large UNIX or AS400 environments. These corporations acted as industry consultants and software Beta sites, over the course of three years between 1996 and 1999. All of the original Beta sites, remain distrib-u-tec clients today.
