Please be aware. I went to Image Care to purchase a new pair of scrubs. They didn’t have my size as their inventory was low & I rushed into buying scrubs I wasn’t happy with. On the day of the purchase, the two owners (husband & wife) were VERY friendly. Even too friendly such that the man allowed himself to come over at one point & put his arm around me & squeeze. I felt very violated & did not know what to do at that moment. I remembered how every time I even went to their old store, this man made me feel so uncomfortable by constantly coming near me & not letting me look by myself. When I purchased by first scrubs from them, the change rooms didn’t have mirrors & I had to step outside, & this man would have something to comment on how the scrubs looked on me. This made me feel very uncomfortable. Fast forward to 3 days ago when he allowed himself to put his arm around my shoulder. I was in shock & turned to his wife but she was too busy ringing up my purchase. I felt disgusted & violated but decided to ignore this. Yesterday, I decided I wanted to speak to the person working about doing a return or exchange for the scrubs I had purchased. I thought that these people were EXTREMELY friendly on Tuesday, so they’d be kind enough to do a return or exchange. But I was wrong. The man was working that day & from the start, he began yelling at me & being rude to me. He kept insisting that sale items cannot be returned even when I explained that they weren’t on sale & I had just used my student discount. I said you guy seemed to have good customer service on Tuesday. Th moment I mentioned “customer service”, this man lost it more & began yelling at me & saying he doesn’t care about customer service. He got 10 times ruder. I said I had the same experience at Scrub Depot & they had amazing customer service & did the return for me. He furiously said they do things differently. After some time on the phone with his wife, he decided to order the scrubs I wanted from White Cross. He yelled at me & told me to be quiet while I was trying to clarify the situation & explain which scrubs he should order. He got politer when I became serious and began FaceTiming my boyfriend. He later gave me a “Credit Note” (store credit?). He said I have 90 days to use it & took back my scrubs. I recorded some of the conversation near the end as I felt scared & was worried about losing my money with this “Credit Note”. I have also filed a report with the police for the assault. I am traumatized and am trying my best to deal with everything that happened. I just could not stop crying after the incident. He also said the new scrubs would cost more than the typical $39.99 and $33.99. He didn’t explain why, insisted it was going to be more, & said I ask too many questions. These are the regular prices for typical White Cross scrubs at every store! I’m going to contact White Cross & confirm this as it is evident these people are nothing but hungry for money. Don’t make the same mistake as me. This man said he doesn’t care about customer service & so I assume he won’t care about this review. But to prevent other customers (especially female customers) from going through what I did, I reported the incident to the police & am writing this review.
