Who We Are Based in Edmonton, Alberta, the Idea Factory has produced over 185 hours of nationally aired television programming as well as hundreds of corporate and commercial productions since its inception in 1992. Some of the television documentaries created have aired nationally on CBC, Global, Newsworld, Discovery Channel, CTV, WTN, and HGTV to name a few.
