On behalf of our family, I would like to formally (and FINALLY!!) express our utmost gratitude and appreciation to Mark. The exceptional care, attention and compassion he provided to our 95-year-old father, during his final days, ensured that those days were as comfortable as possible under the challenging circumstances. This was our first experience with in-home palliative care. As such, it was at times awkward when opening the door to some unknown healthcare provider. With Mark, we immediately warmed to his unobtrusive manner and gentle nature. He is kind, compassionate, considerate and dedicated. My Dad looked forward to his 7pm arrival, knowing that there would be interesting conversation and consistent attention throughout the next twelve hours. He truly missed him the one night he was replaced by another Care Aid. Mark provided much more than any family member could during those late-night hours and deserves recognition for 'Going above and beyond' all expectations of his role. While our tenure with Mark was short-term, the fact that he and his wife Helen planted a tree in my father's memory, is a testament to their level of personal interest and involvement in the lives of their patients...and their empathy and consideration for providing the best level of care - as well as connecting with the attending family. While I hope that there will be no personal or family need for Mark and Helen's services in the near or long-term, I would not hesitate to use them, nor to highly recommend them. Our family was so very fortunate to be blessed with Mark at our front door. May your client list and business success continue to grow. Wishing you all the best that you SO deserve! Jean C
