Home for Dinner opened its doors September 2006. Started by Rosemarie and Paul Brownfield, a mother-son combo of ambitious entrepreneurs, Home for Dinner (HFD) provides the community of Vernon and surrounding area with delicious, nutritious ready to heat and serve prepared meals. With over 75 fantastic items on the menu, HFD appeals to persons of all ages and life circumstances! From busy families to seniors to single persons and couples of all ages, HFD helps to get a healthy, quick meal to your table with little or no effort! Rosemarie has been cooking since the age of 12 and has always had a love and passion for preparing delicious food. She cooks from scratch and enjoys trying new recipes, having written a successful recipe column and feature columns in 2 local newspapers over the course of 13 years. She has also been in charge of dinners put on by the local Kinette Club, Church youth events and worked at Camp Hurlburt kids camp in the summer of 2005. She has taken a variety of cooking courses and has her Food Safe course. Paul has also had a passion for food and started cooking when he was quite young. He worked at Panago Pizza as a cook/supervisor for over 5 years and took many food courses while in high school. Paul took the Business Management Program at OUC in Vernon.
