It is the mandate of the Centre and the funding partners, to provide prospective and existing enterprises, entrepreneurs, and self employed individuals with a one-stop source of business information and support services. This will facilitate the development, investment, growth and success rate of business in Guelph, Wellington County and, where possible, clients of alliance partners. Who We Are Since our inception in 1999, the Guelph-Wellington Business Enterprise Centre (GWBEC) has seen continued growth and development. Small business is a vital part of our community and economic growth, the committed staff at GWBEC are proud to play a role in the development of those businesses. As our Centre grows, so do our client's small businesses. We have observed the launching of many businesses in Guelph and Wellington and are proud to have played a part in the success of those seeking to improve their quality of life through the creation of small business. Through the support and continued commitment of the Municipal, Provincial and Federal Governments, Centre Staff, Board of Directors, Founding Partners and Corporate Sponsors we have been able to continually increase our contacts with people who are starting or operating small businesses.
