Good Lands Environmental Inc., formerly J&V Nielsen and Associates Ltd., is a thriving environmental consulting firm offering timely, professional, and practical environmental solutions for the oil and gas industry in southwest Manitoba and southeast Saskatchewan. Additionally, we provide agricultural consulting services across western Canada. We are a committed group of professionals who believe in effective delivery of quality project management and reporting services.
Good Lands has been in the agricultural consulting business since 1980 and began providing environmental services to the upstream oil and gas industry in 1997 based out of our previous office near Goodlands, Manitoba. The company continues to grow and to prosper; we began as a two-person company and have grown to 14 full and part-time staff members in the past 15 years. In June 2012, our staff relocated to our new office in Pierson, Manitoba; we also have a satellite office in Regina, Saskatchewan.
Good Lands is committed to the safety of our employees and contractors and maintains a valid Medium Employers Certificate of Recognition (MECOR). Good Lands is a registered member of both ISNetworld and the ComplyWorks Registry. Our employees are provided with internal safety training in addition to certified safety courses such as WHMIS, TDG, H2S Alive, First Aid, Global Ground Disturbance, and others. Our contractors are required to follow our safety program and the safety requirements of our clients while on site.
