I want to bring your attention to your need to improve your customer service! My granddaughter called your office yesterday at my urging, looking for help with her sick budgie that was a gift from me. The fellow she spoke with was very rude to her after she had advised reception that if she could find a ride, she would bring her pet bird in. He told her that because of her not keeping an appointment, he missed a doctor's appointment. My granddaughter doesn't drive, her mother works and was not yet home. Bus drivers don't appreciate anyone bringing an animal on the bus, and a budgie is a tropical bird and shouldn't be out in the cold for any length of time! She is scared of the bird dying and was looking to your "professional" expertise to help her understand what she needed to do to help this little creature! She can't afford a lot, and was hoping to get the necessary advise by phone, though she would have gladly brought the little bird in had she had access to transportation there and back. I am extremely disappointed in the service your facility offered, and my granddaughter is still very upset that the bird hasn't improved a whole lot! You are in the wrong business if you aren't "caring" for animals or their owners! Shame on Glencoe Animal Hospital!!!
