In every project we make sure the base is prepared with aggregate base of crushed limestone and compacted, without a base being installed properly the asphalt will not last, your asphalt could develop cracks and impressions. We spend how ever much time is needed and make sure the slope of the asphalt is correct to assure proper drainage. For residential driveways thickness is very important and we pave it with 2.5” thickness; for Commercial Paving we use HL3 asphalt mix as it is recommended if you plan to use your parking lot or driveways for commercial use (parking heavy equipment, heavy trailers, motor homes etc. This mix of Asphalt is more durable and stable than your average driveway mix.
After we lay your asphalt at proper thickness with a Paver leaving a smooth finish, it is then rolled with one of our vibratory rollers, it’s important to vibratory roll your asphalt at a certain temperature to ensure proper compaction. All these proper steps are taken with genesis paving to produce quality asphalt paving. We pave with high quality standards that will last you decades to come.
