ESSO - WHITE OWL HOLDINGS IN MELITA

I have been in this store many times and the staff always seems to be border line rude. If you park on there lot and don't buy gas they will try to charge you for parking. Nothing could prepare me for the last time I was there. My truck is an older truck and runs on propane. I admit the tank is on the deck and not the best spot for filling. The truck has passed a propane inspection and 2 provincial inspections so it is totally legal. I asked the owner to fill me up and he told me how terrible my set up was. He was very rude and continued to trash my truck and told me I should have it changed. I offered to help and he just got mad and said I wasn't certified. He refused to fill me up and only gave me a half tank. While paying he started again to complain about my tank. I told him in 8 years he was the first to complain about my set up. He said he wasn't complaining and I was an idiot and didn't care about his opinion. He was actually completely correct. All I wanted was some propane so I could get home to my family and not a lecture about how my truck was so terrible. I told him I could just not come here any more. Then he actually called me an ass hole. He told me to get the fuck out of his store and never come back again. I have never been treated so poorly at any gas station ever. On the way home I stopped at the coop and filled my tank. A man much older than the Malita guy filled me up. I apologized for the tank being where it was. He looked at me and said why, it's not that bad. He then filled me up and thanked me for my business. I don't understand what his problem was but this is definitely not how to treat any person let alone a paying customer. I give no stars for this horrible place. I highly recommend going to the coop across the street.
