Michael holds over 10 years experience teaching graphic design and new media. He is an exceptionally skilled, well-rounded instructor whose 18 years experience in the print and new media industries helps him to understand exactly what students need to know and why. As Director of Training and Development, Michael manages and oversees all course outline and material development as well as course delivery methodology, classroom environment, and instructors’ professional development at Eliquo. After beginning his career in computer graphics, animation and programming, Michael then moved into the design industry. As Art Director for a communications and marketing firm in Toronto, Ontario, his clients included Dayco Racing, Nabisco Canada and General Electric. Michael is often referred to as the "the king of analogies" since he rarely explains material in one way and always considers different learning styles. His extensive knowledge of Adobe’s products helps students consider the big picture and connect the dots between programs. Michael regularly speaks at the Adobe LiveCycle, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe InDesign User Groups. He is frequently hired by Adobe to present at Adobe seminars and provide product demos throughout Canada.
