Diocese of Kootenay, Anglican Church of Canada, part of the world-wide communion of Anglican Churches! The Diocese of Kootenay was originally part of the Diocese of New Westminster, but as transportation improved and settlement increased along the valleys of south western British Columbia the new Diocese of Kootenay was established in 1900. There are beautiful churches, and wonderful congregations of faithful Christian people worshipping and serving together in the communities that make up the diocese. I hope that if you have an opportunity to visit our diocese in person, you will drop in on a Sunday morning to share in our life.
