Mr Acri is an aweful deputy judge and a mediator. He knows how to manipulate law and justice with his knowledge and power. It's a shame to justice system in Canada. I am a hard working healthcare professional. I often worked 16 hours to provide for my family and kids. I was making more than my ex most times during our marriage. During divorce, my ex tricked me to sign an unfair separation agreement, and got the big new house that was worth almost $ 800,000- 1 million more than my old house. After divorce, he continues to hold all the rent from our co-owned townhouse ( 50/50) and would not give me my portion in the name of child support. After divorce, I took care of my son by myself for two years while paying $260,000 for his house mortgage. My son moved to live with him during Covid, as I worked in risky healthcare, and ex worked from home. My son was already 14 at the time, and my ex thought it was safe to get rid of mom. In 2020, my ex went to massage and went to bed with a massage woman. She wrote all his massage receipts (insurance fraud). After their relationship was reported to CMTO, the woman lost her license. From then on, he wouldn't let me visit my son. He refused to give me the townhouse rent, saying he took it for child support -- I asked him numerous times to take care of my son all by myself, or at least 50/50 for the kid's best interest. I didn't have a say. He held the kid, not because he wanted to look after the kid, but because he could get more money from me. My ex isolated my son from Mom, used my son against mom, and neglected the kid. He always left the poor kid to sleep the whole day during broad daylight on the weekend, while he went to have fun with the massage woman. A few months after I could not see my son, I heard my son dropped out of school and got a mental problem! He was in sci-tech, and was such a brilliant child! I sued my ex to get my portion of the townhouse rent, hoping it would help to get my son if my ex has some financial difficulty. It turned out to be so difficult with the court ! Nobody cared about us in the small claims court ! The judges were just there to make money. One judge was sick; the replacement judge quickly dismissed it, saying it belonged to family court. But we divorced more than 2 years, family court probably won't even accept the case! My lawyer then removed all other family problems from the writing and just focused on the townhouse rent, and we filed the lawsuit again. This time Mr. Acri was the mediator. He obviously didn't read the case at all prior to the mediation, and he didn't care. He dismissed the case even before he knew anything about it. When I mentioned my son got a mental problem after living with dad, the so-called judge suggested, my ex should then get child support from me even longer, even after my son reached 18 ! Seeing his "I don't care attitude" , I was desperate and raised my voice. He then said the defendant was graceful, I was vexatious and couldn't file in the small claims court again. How ridiculous he was ! We may not have enough knowledge about laws, but we know the basic right from wrong, and we can sense if a judge doesn't care a damn about us. What justice can we have with judges like him? A justice system is being manipulated by people like Mr Acri, who has lost conscience, is just there to make money, and even worse, to support the evil people to abuse women and children in this world.
