CUSTOMER ALERT! We hired COSMOS RENOVATIONS AND PAINTING for a small job to replace a chain link fence and gate with a New PVC fence and gate at the entrance way to the back yard (9 Ft. Area). Overall quality of the work was poor and the experience with the contractor was difficult at times. He told us that the job would take 2 days, he started Wednesday morning. By Friday morning he only had two end posts installed which were installed incorrectly and we requested they be moved flush to the back side of garage wall and flush to the chain link fence post remaining (there were 4” gaps on both ends). He moved one post flush to the back side of garage wall but refused to move the other end post. We asked if the job would be completed by end of day (3rd day on the job) as we have an in-ground pool and for safety reasons, he stated that he was done for the day (10:00 am) leaving us having to block the open area for the week-end. We ended the job with COSMOS RENOVATION AND PAINTING immediately. We contacted the contractor to request a partial refund from deposit and he stated he earned the deposit for work that had been done. Would not recommend. Would not rehire.
