CAAT offerr cognitive behavioural therapy in individual and group formats. Cognitive behavioural therapy helps individuals to learn to think, feel, and behave in a way that will reduce the symptoms contributing to their overwhelming anxiety. A variety of treatment strategies are used including the evaluation of thought patterns and exposure therapy. It is our goal to eliminate anxiety problems and equip our clients with the skills necessary to prevent/minimize relapse in the future. Individual therapy is conducted by a Clinical Anxiety/ADD Specialist within the clinic, however as required can take place in home or in the community. Cognitive behavioural group therapy is an effective alternative to one-on-one treatment program. Group sessions are 2 hours long and are held once per week typically for 12 to 16 weeks.
