Caredove helps clinicians connect patients with care through an online platform to find local health and community services, book appointments and send referrals. We got our start working in, and consulting for, a lot of great health care agencies, helping them improve how people access care. We still do this.

By spending thousands of hours examining how patient access service within different organizations, we developed a keen eye for the root cause of problems. We became experts in seeing what needed to be done to reduce wait times, waste, and generally improve the patient’s experience accessing care at an agency.

But certain referral problems span agencies, and they needed a bigger solution than one agency alone could deliver. A fax is sent, people wait, paper gets prioritized, and everyone wonders ‘what is going to happen next?’ Sometimes the process fails completely and the patient receives nothing, they end up in the emergency department or are readmitted to the hospital.
