Working with industry stakeholders, the BC Safety Authoritys goal is to foster meaningful dialogue. By understanding your realities, needs and expectations, we can make more informed decisions and ensure the services we deliver are consistently useful.
There are six technology advisory committees: electrical, gas, boiler, elevating, amusement devices, and passenger ropeways. Each committee is made up of industry representatives, contractors, instructors from technical schools and other interested stakeholders.
Recommendations from the technology committees will help us to develop policies and to propose regulatory changes to the Province. All meeting minutes are documented and available.
