Bird's Safety Clamps first started serving the business, manufacturing and industrial community in 1982, when Allan and Tom Bird first established Bird's Machine & Welding in Eastern Ontario, Canada.
As Allan tells it, “Many of our customers required customized and safety clamp solutions. It was during this period that we realized the need for quality North American made clamps.”
Ten years later, in 1992, Bird's Safety Clamps was established following the purchase of Miller Safety Ltd.
Putting their knowledge and experience to work, Allan and Tom set to improving on the quality and design of vertical, horizontal and structural beam clamps and further expanded their product line to become one of the most comprehensive suppliers of high quality clamps throughout North America including girder clamps, auto-locking clamps, double cam clamps, plate, beam, structural lifting and safety clamp and lifting devices, all the time growing via a network of trusted national distributors.
