Mayada was kind enough to help set an appointment with her on a Friday to have my aunt’s makeup done for Saturday morning at 10AM. However, there are a list of things I was unhappy with for someone who calls themselves a professional makeup artist. 1. She was very adamant about 10AM but texted me 2 hours before the appointment to ask if we can make it in earlier because she has another client at 10:40AM. If you have another client at 10:40AM, she should have made that clear to me earlier. That is not my problem. 2. My aunt informed me that before getting started, Mayada was dealing with her son and husband but failed to show proper hand washing etiquette or sanitizing before starting the makeup process 3. Mayada mixed 2-3 different foundations to figure out the right blend for my aunt’s skin but it was way too light. My aunt told her it looked great inside the house but when stepping out into the natural light, it was way more lighter than we had expected- was especially hard to tell that this was the case inside because Mayada had no proper RING/professional light. 4. My aunt ended up having to come home and take the foundation off but left the eyeshadow, as she did a great job with the eyes, unfortunately not the skin tone. I asked her for my deposit of $30 to be refunded due to the inconvenience of the foundation. Pretty much paying her $50 to do eyeshadow, fair enough. She refused and I was left an unhappy customer, in the end paying $80. She will not be recommended to anyone by me nor receive my service again
