I capture Vancouver Island's magic with my camera; seascapes and landscapes are my passion along with people and animal portraits. From 10 years old, I've had a camera in my hand and continued to grow working for newspapers and doing free-lance work. Working for a Florida newspaper doing a weekly column in the mid-80's, I was able to advance into photo-journalism turning out features on various locations. During the early 80's I wrote a recipe column for the "Arab News" in Riyadh, being the first American to do so. During my nine years with the U.S. Foreign Service I published many articles and photos in the Moscow Times along with the U.S. Army newspaper "Stars & Stripes."

Right now, having just moved to Nanoose Bay, I look forward with great enthusiasm to continue my passion for photography as well as crafting whatever takes my fancy. Come see my workshop!
