My father arrived in this country in 1964 with nothing, but hope for a better life for his wife and 5 children who arrived in 1965. My dad worked day and night to support his family and in 1969 he purchased a building along with the hardware store business in the St. Clair and Oakwood area. We all worked together in the family business and we lived in the 2 bedroom flat above the store. After 40 years, I have come full circle purchasing the building and moving into the flat above the store with my wife and daughter, who also assist me with the hardware business. We at Baby Point Hardware are very excited about the launch of our old fashioned, family owned hardware store where a search for one item turns into a leisurely discovery of an endless number of practical and hard-to-find items.
