Broadcast Systems and Equipment Inc. (BSE) started as a partnership between Jim Eady, Peter Bartlett and Rick Stechly. Today Jim Eady, Joe Scrivo and Stephen Aitcheson partner BSE. The original three partners in BSE along with the new partners, all have extensive experience in the broadcast and production industries. This year, BSE is celebrating 11 years as equipment suppliers and integrators. BSE was created from what was originally Caveco Equipment Ltd. Caveco was in business for over 50 years, supplying hardware and software solutions to the Canadian Broadcast Industry. The new partnership officially started 1 October 2010 and continues to grow stronger. BSE's core business continues to be broadcast; however it has expanded to also include cable, telecommunications and post-production. BSE currently operates four offices across Canada. Head office is in Toronto with regional offices in Montreal, Calgary and Vancouver. In addition, BSE's international presence is evident through the appointment of an International Systems Integration Manager as well as BSE's long list of international projects. Integration projects include numerous Summer and Winter Olympics, World Track and Field Events, Commonwealth Games, World Wrestling Entertainment for the armed forces in Iraq and the World Poker Championships, Las Vegas . In 2006 the BSE engineering staff received a Sports Emmy® Award for Outstanding Technical Team Studio for their involvement in Fox Sport's MansionPoker. BSE provided installation management, installation labor, design and documentation for this highly specialized television production facility. BSE has enjoyed a history of success in many aspects of its industry both domestically and internationally. 'Full service and support' is BSE's business philosophy and will always be its biggest priority. This philosophy is the reason BSE have been successful in the past and it will continue to be the cornerstone of business in the future.
