Avoid doing business with Auto Plus Car Sales. This establishment serves as a prime example of a disreputable used car dealership. My experience began in March when I purchased a vehicle from them. I was assured that the vehicle was in perfect condition, a claim that quickly proved false once I found that the windshield wipers were not functional. I questioned how a vehicle with such a blatant safety issue was allowed to pass inspection. Upon raising my concerns with Mike and Mina at the dealership, they directed me to a specific mechanic—a partner of theirs. This relationship between the dealership and the mechanic felt suspiciously exclusive, leaving me feeling like I was caught in a ploy to extract more money from customers. Despite my car spending considerable time at this mechanic's shop from late March to June, the wiper issue was not resolved. It came to my attention that the necessary part to fix the problem was never even ordered. I felt increasingly frustrated and deceived by the dealership and the mechanic, both aware of the situation yet taking no substantial action to rectify it. In a final attempt to solve the issue, I approached the dealership, hoping to get the repair done elsewhere. They promised to refer me to another mechanic in Scarborough within two weeks. A month has passed since that promise, and I am yet to hear from them. It's clear to me now that once a sale is made, the dealership shows little to no concern for any subsequent issues. It's a pattern echoed in numerous other reviews. I urge you to avoid falling into the same trap. These people will make false promises, take your money, and have no qualms about selling damaged vehicles. Despite their claims to repair post-sale issues, my experience shows they are unwilling to invest the time or money necessary to do so. Please heed this review, and the others like it. Your business is better placed elsewhere.
