At-Home Hospice (AHH) is a specialized nursing agency serving the Ottawa Valley. Our mission is to provide compassionate home-based health care to individuals and their families as they face end-of-life. With the growing awareness of the Hospice movement, patients and their families are choosing to stay at home. Health services that we provide incorporate the underlying principles and philosophy of Ottawa’s Community Palliative Care Program and they are the focus of our operation. Carol Seaby has practiced nursing in the Ottawa area for over four decades, working in hospitals, community nursing agencies, family physicians’ offices, teaching capacities, and the Hospice at May Court. Throughout her nursing career, she has often heard from patients who felt that the best place to be cared for was in their own home.
